I already crawled up the seemingly deadly rock wall,
I just walked the dizzying tightrope,
But standing atop this five-meter tall log
Was a challenge I did not expect.
I made it up easily so my hands could touch the top.
But to climb higher meant for me to let go.
I was losing my balance.
I had four more steps to climb,
With nothing for me to hold onto.
Then I saw the shimmering doge on top of the log,
And my team from down below started cheering.
I somehow found the extra strength to climb up the last few steps,
Violently trembling, mind you,
And I stepped one foot, then the other, on top of the log.
I had finally made it to the top!
“You Will Get There, But Only If You Keep Going.”
